***NEWS: In person/face-to-face meetings have resumed!!***

The Branch continues to meet virtually via Zoom video conferencing software (free) on the 2nd for for ‘Cuppa & Cake’, and now is back in-person on the 4th Friday each month at 10.30AM – 11.30AM at the David Rayner building, near Scotsdale’s in Cambridge.

An Email is sent to members prior to each online meeting with the access link. Please get in touch with the membership secretary if you’ haven’t joined us before and you’ll be added to the mailing list and will receive a link to join the meeting. You’re welcome to just turn up for our in-person meetings.

What’s coming up –

We plan to have guest speakers at our in-person meetings at the David Rayner building, here’s a list of the upcoming speakers:

11 April: World Parkinson’s Day.   Check out the details from Parkinson’s UK. Watch for sights in Cambridge (the Guildhall) and Ely (Cathedral) which will be turning ‘blue’ in support of World Parkinson’s Day. Invite others via the facebook event. Send us your photos!

22 April:  Andrew Harding of AbilityNet will attend, F2F or via Zoom (tbc). All those needing support or tips with technology are encouraged to attend. Send your Questions in advance of the meeting to the Assistant Secretary (see contact us).

27 May: Andrew Lacey, historian, on “Cambridge Spies”

24 June: Rachel Carr, Cybercrime & Fraud Prevention Officer from Cambridgeshire Constabulary

22 July: David Short, Retired Publican “My Life behind Bars”

***Save the date** 2 August: Celebration of the Cambridge Branch’s 40th year — time and place to be confirmed.
